Azarenka defeats Flipkens at Wimbledon
She will compete with a stronger rival in the next round.
Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has made it to the third round of Wimbledon. She defeated Belgian Kirsten Flipkens in two sets on July 1 – 6:3, 6:3.
It was their fourth match and Azarenka has never lost to Flipkens. Kristina Mladenovic of France will be Azarenka’s next rival. She is the World No. 24 now.
Azarenka defeated Estonian Anett Kontaveit in the first round – 6:2, 6:1.
