Azerbaijani President to visit Belarus
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will arrive in Belarus on November 27. His official visit will last for two days. Aliyev will conduct negotiations with Alyaksandr Lukashenka. The Presidents are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents.
The Belarusian and Azerbaijani Presidents met in Baku in June. Ilham Aliyev has been to Belarus thrice – in 2006, 2009 and 2012. He is going to lay a wreath on the Victory Monument in the Belarusian capital and visit the Great Patriotic War Museum this time.
Ilham Aliyev is 53 years old. He has been the President of Azerbaijan since 2003 when he replaced his father Geidar Aliyev in the position. Azerbaijan will have to choose sides due to the rapid worsening of Russia-Turkey relations, some analysts think.
