Belarus police chief awards two officers from Russia

Belarus' interior minister Anatol Kuliashou has awarded two Russian police officers from Sakhalin. Major Sergei Masterkov, the chief of the criminal police in the Sakhalin region and Col. Vladimir Sizov, the acting first deputy head of the regional police department, were praised for helping catch a highly dangerous fugitive. Police have not revealed details of the operation. The fugitive committed a crime in Belarus and tried to hide in Sakhalin.
