Belarusian businessmen ask EU to leave benefits for Belarus
Belarusian business associations have turned to members of the European Union asking to leave trade benefits for Belarus in the framework of the United System of Preferences of the EU.
Small and medium business will suffer most if they are cancelled, - noted participants of the meeting of the Entrepreneurs’ and employers’ business union who supported the appeal.
The information agency Prime-TASS informs that the heads of the Republican Association of industrial enterprises, Civil organization “Minsk Union of entrepreneurs and traders” and Belarusian Association of international carriers have also signed the document.
It is said in the appeal that the decision that may come into power in June may lead to a dramatic decrease in export and trade. It will do serious harm not only to the Belarusian business but to our European partners too.
