British government confirms class nature of education system
The investigation ordered by the government has revealed that 75% of lawyers and 70% of financiers in Great Britain are graduates of public schools. At the same time the majority of Britons study at state schools and only 7% of citizens go to private schools.

The report was presented to Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Tuesday. The document contains 88 recommendations that generally mean that it is necessary to provide equal opportunities for all citizens and improve the education system and its correspondence to the labour market.
