British woman struggling for the right to die
A 30-year-old British sick woman that cannot be cured has launched a legal battle for the right to her own death.

The woman’s lawyers plan to build their case on the European Human Rights Convention, which bans cruel or degrading treatment of the sick.
The hearing of this case is scheduled for late March, but the British Medical Association has announced that the use of a deadly drug is in violation with the law and the ethics.
The case is unique, because Ms. Taylor’s lawyers are using the “double effect”. They maintain that doctors must give the drugs in order to ease the pains, even if it is to expedite the death.
