Chavez urges to create Belarusian “collective farms” in Venezuela
Hugo Chavez has suggested creating collective farms to enhance agriculture.
The Venezuelan President has reminded that “collective farms were created in the Soviet time” and continue “successfully functioning” in Belarus, the country he visited not long ago. Chavez said it at a meeting of the Venezuelan Council of Ministers on Saturday.
According to him, he sent a bill about the creation of the Federal Governmental Council to the Parliament to increase the effectiveness of the administration of the country.
The President has urged governors to study the production basis and patterns of ownership of means of production for a quicker promotion of “Bolivarian socialism”, reports ITAR-TASS.
