Council of Europe's Deputy Secretary General to visit Belarus
Council of Europe's Deputy Secretary General Maud Boer de Boer-Buqicchi is expected with a visit in Minsk on June 8. The visit will take place on the occasion of the launch of a Council of Europe's information center at the Belarus State University, Liudmila Katsko, a deputy head of university's international relations department told the European Radio for Belarus.
Liudmila Katsko: "It is assumed that the launch ceremony will be attended by Belarus' foreign minister Sergei Martynov. Apparently, the university chancellor will also take part in the ceremony.
The information center will popularize the operation of the Council of Europe, inform the population about the tasks and priorities of this organization.
