Dollar resumes growth
On Wednesday, March 9, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange held regular currency trading. Based on their results, the National Bank established new currency rates. After a long fall, the dollar rate grew by 72 rubles and now amounts to 20,985 rubles, the euro rate was also up by 22 rubles and amounted to 23,033 rubles, the Russian ruble rate decreased - from 290.95 to 289.86 Belarusian rubles.
The Belarusian ruble strengthened against the basket of currencies by 0.02%.
On Saturday, March 5, the dollar rate decreased by 322 rubles and amounted to 20,913, the euro fell by 198 - to 23,011 rubles, the Russian ruble rate grew from 290.05 to 290.95 Belarusian rubles.
