Dollar sold for Br22k, euro – for Br24k in Minsk
Some banks started selling dollars for 22 000 – 22 200 roubles on the morning of January 21 in Minsk. Euro can be bought for 24 000 – 24 300 roubles. The exchange rates have been set by PriorBank, Alfa-Bank, BSB Bank and Absolut Bank.
The dollar went up by Br700 at the Belarusian Stock Exchange in the morning. The website is unavailable now. The official exchange rate will be announced by the National Bank after 12 p.m.
