Donbass battalion controls 4 districts of Donetsk Oblast
The battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces released Velikonovosyolkinski District from separatists at first.
See the video for more details. Having beaten off Donetsk militants’ attack, Donbass released three more districts – Dobropolski, Aleksandrivski and Krasnoarmeiski. Soldiers control administrative buildings there. The special battalion will protect polling stations during the presidential election on May 25, censor.net.ua reports.
Members of Ukraine’s National Guard took a number of other neighbouring districts under control. They are installing roadblocks to prevent the intervention of militants from the eastern part of Donetsk Oblast.
