Eastern Partnership to have own parliament
The decision was passed this week during a meeting in Stockholm, Belarus lawmaker Siarjei Maskevich who was present at the meeting told the House of Representatives on October 23. A working group has been set up to develop a concept of the new inter-state body.
Maskevich: “A working group that would develop documents was set up. It comprises representatives of parliaments from six member states of the European Partnership: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus as well as six representaives of parliaments from EU member countries”.
