EU expands Ukraine-connected black list, imposes limitations against Crimea
8 people and 3 companies have been added to the list.
The EU expanded the list of persons who would be prohibited to enter the EU countries and have their assets frozen, reports UNIAN. The corresponding decision was taken in Brussels at the session of the permanent representatives Committee on Monday.
The Committee also agreed on the further measures which limit trade and investments in Crimea and Sevastopol. These limitations stop investments in such spheres in Crimea and Sevastopol as transport, telecommunications, power energetics. They also ban export of key equipment for the above.
The Committee will discuss economic measures regarding the destabilizing role of Russia in eastern Ukraine today.
