First fine for swearing on Twitter in Belarus
10-grader Dzmitry Malakovich from Minsk gets a Br200K fine for swearing at his school teacher on Twitter.
According to Russian news service, the 16-year-old high-school student described in swearing words the conflict that he had had with the teacher on that day, on Twitter. The teacher reported the incident to the police.
Dzmitry Malakovich's case was considered by the Juvenile Commission of Minsk's Maskouski District Administration in Minsk. The youngster's parents are now to pay the fine, under the commission's ruling.
