Football: Barcelona stay in Minsk's Renaissance Hotel (in pictures)
The Catalan giants arrived in Minsk on a chartered flight landing at 1930. Dozens of fans gathered near the entrance just to get frustrated again like back in 2011 when the team quickly left the airport. Much more fans were near Renaissance Hotel in Minsk where the Catalons will stay for their Champions League clash with BATE Barysau. Barcelona will be without their leader Lionel Messi who has to miss the match due to injury.
BATE played Barcelona in the Champions League group stage in the 2011/2012 season. The Barysau side was beaten twice 0:5 at Dynamo Stadium and 0:4 in Barcelona.
The teams will play tonight at Barysau Arena. Kick-off is at 2145 Belarus time.
