Footballer Vital Radzivonau re-records his promo video in Belarusian
BATE Borisov star Vital Razivonau promotes football and Belarusian language in a new video re-do.
The Russian version of the promo video "Football is..." has been viewed by 28 thousand people in 5 days. Now the forward of BATE and the Belarusian national team Vital Radzivonau is re-recording the video in Belarusian. Famous musician Lyavon Volski has translated the text.
"We decided from the very start that there would be two language versions, - Vital Radzivonau recalls the discussion of the promo video creation. - The viewers liked the Russian variant. It will be interesting to see the reaction of the public to the Belarusian variant. Promotion of a mother tongue is an absolutely normal position for a citizen. This shouldn't even be discussed."
19-year-old student of economy from Minsk Anton Mamonenka made the video for just $ 100.
"This is my hobby. I used videos of such brands as Nike or Adidas for inspiration, Anton says. - I analyzed at which angles they film, which lenses they use. I wanted to make a cool video so that the children would like it. Maybe it will help some of the kids to choose sports, football as their life path. We addressed tot he famous Belarusian footballers with an offer. Vital Radzivonau responded first."
We visited the footballer and his film-making crew as they were recording the Belarusian variant of the video. The modest studio is located right in the apartment of the sound director - Ivan Kudzerka.
During the recording, Vital Radzivonau pronounces some original Belarusian words for the first time ever. However, he has a perfectionist approach to work - he keeps on making one take after another until he pronounced a word correctly.
The Belarusian variant of the video will be available on the internet on June 14.
