Georgia House has opened in Minsk, reports TUT.by. It will host two Georgian cuisine restaurants, a wine bar, a shop and a museum. The venue can be used for family events. It will also screen Georgian movies.
The owners say the House was designed as a platform for businesses that produce Georgian foodstuffs ranging from wine to tea to spices. They plan to launch a chain of local offices across Belarus in the future.
The Georgia House opening ceremony was attended by Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze and Georgian Ambassador to Belarus Valery Kvaratskheli. None of Belarusian officials showed up at the ceremony.
