Hotel, business center to replace Night Star club in Minsk
The Minsk-based popular Night Star, located near the Red Cathedral, will be closed down to give way to a new business center and a hotel, club's director Igar Milyutsin told the European Radio for Belarus.
Igar Malyutsin: "The club's building will be partially demolished. The same way they constructed the Crown Plaza Hotel, when one of the walls was left while the rest was constructed anew. They have a big project: a hotel and a business center…”
According to Igar Milyutsin, the developper is now in the process of obtaining the last approval from the culture minister. Meanwhile, the club is looking for new spaces.
The Night Star is one of the few clubs which hosted rock concerts of Belarusian musicians.
