IMF: Belarusian economy’s financial gap to total about $3 billion this year
The financing gap of the Belarusian economy will total about $3 billion in 2009. The numbers can be found in the first published review of the realisation of the stand-by programme in Belarus.
Belarus will need 6.8 billion dollars in 2009. At the same time, according to the International Monetary Fund, the sources available to our country allow to find only 3.845 billion dollars. The financial deficit will total 2.971 billion dollars. “The gap” is planned to be liquidated with the help of IMF’s sources and a credit of the World Bank, informs “Daily”.
