Indian company to reconstruct thermo-power plant in Hrodna
Belarus and India have signed a 56 million deal to resonstruct a thermo-power plant in Hrodna in the western Belarus.
Under the contract, the Indian partner will supply, install and provide technical consultations about the equipment which can generate 120 MWt of electricity.
India has offered a credit line for the implementation of the project. The two countries have also signed an inter-governmental memorandum on the establishment of a Belarus-Indian training center at the High-Tech Park in Minsk as well as an agreement on cooperation in the field of sport.
