It is not clear who should get ready for Eurovision 2010 in Belarus
Belarus has not decided who will be responsible for selection and preparation of our participants for Eurovision 2010 that will take place in Norway next May. The deputy head of the Belarusian Broadcasting Company Alyaksandr Martynenka has informed “Interfax” about it.
He has explained that the Belarusian Broadcasting Company has applied for it but has not chosen a participant yet because the ONT is going to prepare a participant too.
Answering the question whether Belarus may miss “Eurovision”, Martynenka claimed that there was no reason to fear it. According to him, the first step is to apply, and the second one – to chose a participant next year. Participants can be chosen by the owner of the broadcasting company who applied for it.
"We organize national selection tours to draw attention to the contest. We still have time by March”, - noted Martynenka.
