The Justice Ministry of Belarus has registered the Tell the Truth public association, reports the press office of the organization.
The public association's declared objective is to promote the system of state relations, which can ensure an effective development of market economy in the condition of comprehensive social assistance to the population; to unite citizens for research and enlightment activities in the field of politics, economy, social and humanitarian relations; to formulate and inform the state bodies and social and political institutions about the consolidated opinion of citizens, reports tut.by.
The Tell the Truth campaign has attempted to obtain registration for seven years. The first attempts were made under the leadership of former 2010 presidential candidate and poet Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu. Nyklyayeu quit the campaign in 2015 having accused the leaders of the organization of collaborating with secret services. Currently, Tell the Truth has two co-leaders - Andrei Dzmitryieu and a 2015 presidential candidate Tacciana Karatkevich.
