KGB knows about 58 Belarusian 'militants' fighting in Donbas
The State Security Committee of Belarus is aware of the 58 Belarusian citizens participating in combat operations in Donbas, KGB Chairman Valery Vakulchyk told Euroradio.
Vakulchyk: "State Security Committee has information about 58 people. Of these, 34 are fighting on one side, more than 20 - on the other."
The head of the security services said that in Belarus, according to the new laws, such fighters may be prosecuted even if they went to war to fight fo free. This norm becomes legally effective from January 1, 2016.
Vakulchyk said that these people are outside the country. But the KGB knows their names, their activities are being studied.
