Lavon Volski: new album will have 16 songs and plenty of depression
Lavon Volski gave his first big interview to the Radio Liberty after the death of his wife Hanna. There he spoke about the music and said that the new album, for which the money had been collected since March, was almost ready. It is expected to include 8 heavy and 8 light songs. This concept for the disc was proposed by Lavon and Hanna working with their sound producer Snorre Bergerud working on disk recording.
"There's a continuous depression, I do not know why, because it was all written in Switzerland, where we were with Hanna before Christmas. We wanted to do everything as quickly as possible. And I wrote in emergency mode. I made a demo and immediately sent it to Snorre, who then did or did not accept it. Some he did not approve, but we still managed to write 8 by 8. it is strange, perhaps, but with this album, it was decided to go against the rules of show business," said Lavon Volski.
The musician also said that he planned to make a great presentation of the music program in the autumn in Vilnius, but the Lithuanian side refused to provide visa support to the Belarusians. Embassy no longer intends to issue free visas to those Belarusians who want to visit the Belarusian concerts in Lithuania. Volski will personally meet with the Ambassador of Lithuania to Belarus to somehow resolve this issue.
