The information about rarity watches dating back to Victor Yushchenko’s election campaign and the Orange Revolution found in the storehouse of Luch Watch Plant has appeared on the Internet.

Having read the post made by the head of Art Manor Pavel Belavus, many users wrote that they would gladly buy such a watch. Russian mass media accused the Belarusian authorities of supporting Maidan.

However, there are only 10 watches of the kind and they were ordered by Ukraine back in 2004, the watch plant explained.

"We received the order and made a trail lot but no contract was signed later. Our enterprise sticks to the market economy principles and we are ready to consider all orders so there is nothing strange about these watches. However, that contract was not signed,” PR representative of the plant Ivan Vyarenich explained.

10 “Yushchenko” watches are kept in the plant archive together with the other watches made by Luch at different times.

The company is not going to produce and sell such watches unless somebody orders at least 50 copies.
