Lukashenka in Armenia on working visit
Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenk today headed to Armenia with a working visit, which was agreed only yesterday during a telephone conversation between the presidents of the two countries. It is unclear why the visit is taking place in such a hurry. The official news agency BELTA reports that the visit's agenda includes meetings with the leadership of Armenia and the country's business circles. The sides will discuss economic cooperation in the conditions of the global financial crisis and "interaction of the countries in the framework of the integration alliances in the post-Soviet space".
