Lukashenka to attend European Games in Baku
The Belarusian President’s working visit will start on June 11 and continue until June 13.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan on June 11-13. Lukashenka will take part in the festive opening ceremony of the I European Games, the President’s press service reports.
The Belarusian President will conduct a number of bilateral meetings and visit some sports objects in Baku.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will also take part in the opening of the European Games. The ceremony is appointed for the evening of June 12.
The first European Games in history will be held in Baku on June 12-28. 253 sets of medals in 20 kinds of sport will be awarded. The future European Games will be held once in four years.
