The improvement of people’s quality of life and well-being has always been the main task of the economic development, Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced at a festive meeting dedicated to Belarus Independence Day on July 1.
“We will never refuse from the principle,” the Belarusian leader stressed. “Belarus is a state for people.”
Belarus will always protect ordinary people’s interests, the President said.
“The model of the social state that we have chosen allows protecting ordinary people in good and bad economic conditions. We will not refuse from this model,” he noted.
The well-being at home depends on people themselves and on their initiatives, responsibility and energy as well on their readiness to make use of the opportunities suggested by the state, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said.
