Lukashenka: Reform needed for Belarus police

Alexander Lukashenka today said in Minsk that the Belarusian police should be reformed. The reform must be carried out not with the aim of destroying the force but for the sake of "raising the police at a higher level and cleaning up its ranks".

The president said the police should "be liked by people and protect our citizens", reports Interfax-Zapad.
