Lyabedzka to stand trial for action near Minsk KGB on November 20
UCP Party leader Anatol Lyabedzka will stand trial for the action in memory of the victims of Stalin’s repressions held near Minsk KGB on October 29. It 29 has been postponed until November 20. Judge Victoria Shabynya has granted the politician’s application to postpone the hearing.
Lyabedzka has been invited to meet Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius who is visiting Belarus now. The meeting will be held on the morning of November 12, BelaPAN reports.
Leader of the movement For Statehood and Independence Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu and activist of the campaign European Belarus Maxim Vinyarski will stand trials in Minsk Central District Court today. Two administrative cases have been started against Nyaklyayeu – for participation in the National Flag March on October 10 and for the action near KGB on October 29. The politician is not going to appear in court.
