Lyabedzka’s initiative group is asked not to violate law
However, no warning has been pronounced to the group.
Minsk City Election Committee has asked Anatol Lyabedzka’s initiative group not to violate the election legislation, committee member Zmitser Kaspyarovich (BPF Party) told BelaPAN.
Lyabedzka’s representatives are giving out agitation materials at pickets, the election committee claimed.
However, no warning has been pronounced to the initiative group.
The United Civil Party conducted a picket of solidarity with political prisoners and missing politicians’ relatives in front of KGB on August 4. 11 people holding portraits of political prisoners and missing politicians took part in the action.
The event was not discussed at the meeting of the election committee, Kaspyarovich said.
