Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s presidency confirmed in Iran

The Supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has officially confirmed the appointment of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as President, reports AFP.
The 4-year term of presidency will be the second one for Ahmadinejad: he was re-elected on June 12.

According to the official information, he got 62.6% of electors’ votes.

The new state leader will have to pledge allegiance in the Parliament of the country. It will happen on Wednesday, August 5.
