MAZ switches to three-day week
The main production line of MAZ will work for only three days this week. The deputy director general of the plant Mikalai Sinyukovich has informed “Interfax” about it today.
He specified that only the main production line would not function on Monday and Friday. The bus and preparatory industries will function as usual, noted the deputy director. According to him, the decision about the number of workdays next week will be taken later and depend on the further development of the situation.
MAZ has to switch to the short week because of the excess of production. According to Mikalai Sinyukovich, the enterprise is trying to keep workers’ wages the same as last month.
