Minister: Entrepreneurs account for 2-2.5% of all tax proceeds

Private entrepreneurs’ taxes make up 2-2.5% of all tax proceeds, Minister of Taxation Syarhei Nalivaika told ONT on Sunday. Belarusian tax inspectors are not hoping to get much from small business, he said.

The tax culture is at a rather low level in Belarus but our citizens are law-obedient, Nalivaika noted. He sees no prospect of economic growth in 2016 because the Belarusian economy slowed down in 2015, the Minister said.
