More than a thousand people have been amnestied

More than a thousand people have been amnestied in Belarus. Let us remind you that the corresponding presidential decree was signed by the President in May. The amnesty is dated for the 65th anniversary of the liberation of our country from German fascist invaders. Cases of only half the convicts that can be amnestied have already been considered. It is planned to release about 4.5 thousand people.

The ONT channel notes that the amnesty will help save about 2 billion roubles.
