Moskva River is on fire (video)
A huge fuel oil patch has reached the Moskva River from an underwater pipe.
A large oil patch appeared in the Moskva River. It was the result of a fuel oil leak from an underwater pipe, BBC reports.
The oil leak occurred at the oil-processing plant of Transneft at the border of Moscow districts Maryino and Brateyevo. Dry grass burning on the river bank resulted in the fire on the river surface. The fire overwhelmed 100 running metres.
The video shows that the fire has reached both river banks. A huge plume can be seen there. It is several dozen meters high.
