National budget will be revised in September, says expert
The government will again have to revise the national budget in August-September due to a traditional economic slowdown in the summer months, Leanid Zaika, the director of the Minsk-based think tank Strategy Center, told the European Radio for Belarus.
The economist described the June 28 president's decree to cut expenditures in the budget as a formal and rushed decision.
“Today, indicators in August-September will be the most important. Such a neurotic rush is formal. Two months later, the ship will require repairs again", he said.
