Naviband: Staff and passengers talked to us in Kyiv airport
The Belarusian Eurovision-2017 representatives have returned from Kyiv where they performed in the first semifinal of the Ukrainian national Eurovision selection tour. It was a Eurovision rehearsal and the public’s reaction was the most important thing, Artsyom Lukyanenka told Euroradio:
"A lot of people came up to us at the airport the following day. There were passengers and airport employees. Ukrainians are watching the contest closely.”
The musicians had a feeling of belonging to one wave and having one position in music and life after the meeting with Jamala. Naviband sang Jamala’s 1944 in Belarusian.
The band will make promo trips to Amsterdam, London, Riga and other European cities soon. They are also planning to work on the arrangement of the contest song.
Eurovision-2017 will be held in Kiev on May 9-13. Naviband will sing in the second semifinal on May 11.
