Number of Belarusian political emigrants rapidly increasing
Professor Lars-Erik Clair, member of the Swedish affiliate of “Amnesty International”, has claimed it.
He noted in an interview with “Narodnaya Volya”: “It hurts to see how quickly the number of Belarusian political emigrants is increasing. Active, educated, young people have to leave their country. At the same time I would like to note that the Swedish government and the governments of the other EU member states should give such people an opportunity to continue their studies at European universities and to support the Belarusian democratic community”.
