Official Union of Poles would like to summon international arbitration commission
The official Union of Poles in Belarus (UPB) insists on summoning an international independent arbitration commission to discuss the state of the Polish minority in Belarus. Alena Bohdan has informed BelaPAN about it referring to the deputy head of the association.
According to her, the administration of the registered association asked the Polish authorities to create an independent international commission after the dissent of the UBP into official and unofficial wings. According to Bohdan, the appeal was ignored.
Let us remind you that policemen and officials of the court took over the Polish House in Ivyanets. Members of the unrecognized wing of the Union of Poles in Belarus and Polish diplomats were not allowed to enter the building. Poland has recalled its ambassador to Belarus Henrik Litvin for a consultation.
