Participant of unauthorized opposition action to stand trial in Minsk on Friday
Artur Zhuk, participant of a grass roots opposition action held on the evening of October 11, will stand trial in Minsk on October 16. Two policemen in plain clothes visited him at work yesterday evening, BelaPAN reports. They drew up a report and summoned Zhukau to court. The man ‘was using bad language at the action’, the policemen said.
Artur Zhuk will stand trial in Minsk Maskouski District Court.
Several hundred people took part in the opposition action. They marched from October Square towards Independence Square.
