Police look for 200 thousand dollars on Fiaduta and Miatselitsa

Aliaksandr Fiaduta and Aleh Miatselitsa were detained at Minsk railway station on December 1 this morning. Fiaduta informed the European Radio for Belarus about this himself.  Presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu's representatives were returing from Moscow. They were detained as they got off the train. All the passengers who were in the same carriage were detained and convoyed to the transport police department. Charges on detention were made against them there.

Fiaduta says they were suspected in transporting a big some of fake money. However, the check-up did not reveal any fake money on them. Fiaduta and Miatselitsa were released two hours later.

Fiaduta is convinced that the reason for their detention was Lukashenka's recent statement that Nyaklyaeu and Sannikau got money from Russia:

Fiaduta: "I planned to spend one day in Moscow, the same as him (Miatselitsa - Euroradio). We were on the same flight. I think this confused our law-enforcement agencies. They thought that two representatives of a presidential candidate were sure to transport the 200 thousand dollars mentioned by the President, and by the KGB Head. This is exactly what the Belarusian law-enforcement agencies are doing at the moment - they are looking for money that we allegedly transport from Russia".
