Police patrolled central squares in Homel on Freedom Day
The police in Homel on March 25 decided to be on the safe side. In order to prevent unauthorized street opposition actions, police patrols were deployed to the main squares in the city center. The patrols were on duty from 5 p.m to 9 p.m..
On Freedom Day, several actions took place in Homel. The local branch of the Movement for Freedom congratulated residents with the holiday. During the action, activists were handing out leaflets. Earlier, white-red-white bands had appeared in town.
