On June 8, football fans and just Polish patriots got together at Warsaw Defilad Square.
The opening game of the Euro-2012
Poland-Greece was shown on six huge screens in the fan zone, the territory of
which covered 120 thousand square meters.
Let us note that this is the biggest fan-zone in the whole history of European
Championships. The viewers were admitted in only after the guards searched
them.
Despite the great number of people and the sports emotions there were no major
incidents during the game. The guards detained just a few people and handed
them in to the police.
Let us remind you, the game between Poland and Greece ended in a draw - 1:1.
