Ales Byalyatski’s sentence remains in power
Minsk City Court has announced the decision after the appeal hearing.
Radio “Liberty” informs that prosecutor Kiryl Chubkavets claimed that Byalyatski’s sentence was fair. He said that Byalyatski’s guilt had been proved and the sentence did not have to be changed.
Let us remind you that the human rights defender was sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment and confiscation of property.
