Anniversary of Minsk metro blast
15 people were killed in the blast and more than 200 were injured.
Memorial events will be organized in different cities of the country. The civil and cultural action “Save Belarus for the future” will take place in Slutsk. A monument to victims of the terrorist act will be opened in Minsk near the entrance to “October” metro station. A requiem meeting will be organized in the Church of All Saints.
Let us remind you that the blast occurred in Minsk metro on April 11, 2011. The suspects were detained two days later – Vitsebskers Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou. The court returned them guilty at the end of November 2011 and sentenced them to death. They were executed on March 15, 2012.
