"Bayern" take revenge on BATE for Minsk defeat (photo, video)

Euroradio reminds, on October 2, BATE sensationally defeated the German club - 3:1 at “Dynama” stadium in Minsk.

The teams played in the following squads:  

"Bayern": Neuer, Rafinha, Van Buyten, Boateng, Contento, Schweinsteiger (captain), Tymoschuk, Shaqiri, Kroos, Müller, Gomez.

BATE: Harbunou, Bardachou, Radzkou (captain), Filipenka, Palyakou, Alyakhnovich, Valadzko, Kantsavy, Hleb, Baha, Radzivonau.

"Bayern" had the initiative throughout the match, but it was evident that they did not play at full strength. In the first half, Artsyom Kantsavy made a strike at the 11th minute but it was an easy save for the goalkeeper . At the 22nd Mario Gomez opened the score after the low-cross from Shaqiri who over-played Dzyanis Palyakou at the left wing.  

Starting from 51st minute, BATE played in the majority – Boateng was sent off for a brutal attack against Kantsavy. However, Thomas Mueller scored the second goal against Andrei Harbunou already at the 54th minute. The third goal was scored by Shaqiri, who made a precise header into Harbunou’s goal. Dzyanis Palyakou was sent off at the 69th minute – he got a yellow card for diving when he fell in the penalty zone of “Bayern”, and as he already had a yellow card in the first half, the BATE player saw the red light.

Alaba completed the crashing defeat 4:0 at the 83rd minute. However, Yahor Filipenka managed to score a goal of prestige at the 89th minute.

Renan Bressan played his last game for BATE - he substituted Kantsavy in the second half. Victar Hancharenka also gave an opportunity to play to Raman Vasilyuk, who substituted Vital Radzivonau at the 67th minute.

Ribéry replaced Bastian Schweinsteiger at the 72nd minute.

In the other Grop F match, "Valencia" defeated "Lille" in France - 1:0. Thus, "Bayern" and "Valencia" scored 13 points each, but the German club got to the first place (better goal difference, a victory and a draw against "Valencia"). BATE have 6 points, "Lille" - 3.

BATE will play in the  1/16 finals of the Europa League next year.
