Belarus resumes NPP credit negotiations
A Belarusian delegation will resume negotiations about a credit needed for the construction of the Belarusian NPP with the Russian Ministry of Finanace.
The deputy head of “Rosatom” Alexander Lakshin has informed RIA “Novosti” about it.
Belarus expected an interstate credit of $9 billion at first. However, Russian PM Vladimir Putin assessed the construction to cost 6 billions referring to the construction cost of Kaliningrad NPP.
An interstate Russia-Belarus agreement on the construction of the Belarusian NPP should be signed by the end of the first quarter of this year.
