Blast occurs at Belarusian cement plant in Kastsyukovichy
A young worker died.
According to BelaPAN, the blast occurred at about 16.00 on October 4 due to emission of the exaust gas in the oven. Panelling and fences were destroyed.
A 22-year-old worker was severely injured by the blast. He was delivered to the Kastsyukovichy district hospital, but he died in approximately two hours.
A special commission is checking the incident. No criminal cases have been started by the public prosecutor's office so far. This is the second lethal incident at the Belarusian cement plant this year.
