The eight cyclists injured in Minsk ring road are in city hospitals now, doctor on duty of Minsk Emergency Hospital Dzyanis Maiseyenka has informed BelTA about it.
"The injuries are not serious but they need treatment and constant medical surveillance ", - noted the specialist. It is not clear for how long the young sportsmen will stay in hospital.
Some of the young people who took part in the cycle race are psychologically shocked and need out-patient treatment. According to the cyclists, the coaches who were at the back of the column suffered most.
The road accident occurred yesterday evening: a BMW collided with a column of cyclists. The case is being investigated.
